YOUR SALES TALK COULD LEAD TO
AN ANTITRUST INVESTIGATION
HOW TO PREPARE
YOUR SALES PEOPLE BEFORE
TRADESHOWS, BUSINESS DEALINGS WITH COMPETITORS
This seminar will discuss the basics of US antitrust compliance to train your sales people before tradeshows and industry association meetings on what they need to know to avoid any antitrust investigation. Your sales employees sometimes meet and deal with the competitors in different settings. Often your company and your competitors will need to discuss joint ventures, supply arrangements and toll manufacturing. Media attention often focuses on executives of large companies, but antitrust issues are also important for small companies. This seminar will provide a basic understanding of antitrust compliance for your management and sales forces and introduce the current focus of the Japan and US governments’ joint efforts to aggressively investigate violations. You will learn what types of activities are considered as suppressing competition.
